On a bright Tuesday morning, the school corridor was filled with the sound of giggles and laughter as children ran in like free birds, brimming with excitement. The change in their behavior was noticeable, and it quickly became clear today was Bagless Day.
This innovative initiative allowed students to experience learning in a fun and engaging way, breaking away from traditional methods. The day was packed with enjoyable activities that fostered creativity and joy among the students.
Teachers led art and craft activities, such as thumb printing and making rakhis which the children thoroughly enjoyed. A highlight of the day was the “no gas cooking” activity, where students enthusiastically made corn bhel. Dressed as little chefs, they followed safety and hygiene measures, making the experience both fun and educational.
Nursery students participated in clay modeling, crafting Ganpati idols, chaklis, laddoos, and more. This activity not only sparked their imagination but also helped improve their fine motor skills.
Bagless Day brought immense joy to the children, who spent the day hopping and popping around the school with boundless energy and enthusiasm. Their happy faces created a positive and joyous atmosphere in the pre-primary section, making these moments truly memorable for all.
