Beyond classroom

CULTURAL DIVERSITY

As a school, the diversity of our community is one of our greatest strengths. That diversity offers extraordinary learning opportunities for our students to build lasting friendships and relationships across culture, race and other aspects of identity.

Differences in culture, background, ability, identity, and perspective should be respected and celebrated. It is only by creating a positive climate and inclusive culture that we will meet our vision to cultivate exceptional thinkers who are prepared for the future and be global citizens.

CULTURAL LEARNING

Learning occurs first through social interactions between individuals and second through individual internalization of social behaviors. Students and Teachers healthy interaction inculcates social and cultural norms.

These relationships help facilitate social interaction and active participation in learning tasks. Students learn through observation, listening and talking through their tasks. Cultural learning in a school is important for fostering inclusivity, promoting understanding and respect for diversity, preparing students to be active and informed global citizens.

HOW WE PRACTISE IT?

We give students education and experiences that lead towards successful career. We help them succeed in their career—to discover a field they’re passionate about and dare to lead it.
